Retfrofit Assessments

Every home that is to be subjected to energy retrofit work must first be assessed by a Retrofit Assessor, in accordance with PAS 2035. Retrofitting is essentially improvements made to properties, generally older ones, to improve the energy efficiency of that property.

A retrofit assessment is an in-depth assessment of a property based on:

• An Occupancy Survey
• An Energy Survey
• A Condition Survey

The elements from these surveys will then be assessed to form sufficient date to allow the Retrofit Coordinator to develop an improvement plan for the domestic property.

All Retrofit Assessors at Crown Energy Surveys are fully qualified Accredited by Elmhurst’s Accreditation Scheme.
